Ahoys there!
My course is really great at the moment. I'm getting to do exactly what I want to do, whereas back in September I hated it. So that's good! Anyways, here's the stuff I did in the last advanced character animation lab - more principles of animation and whatnot:
And here's what I got up to in my CGFX lab (not finished):
I'm still trying to decide on the fairy tale/nursery rhyme I want to base my new animation project on. I'm sure I'll find something interesting soon.
Ooh and here's some random anatomy practice I'm doing:

New Term
So my first week of my second semester of the second year has just ended. I've got some really great modules, they are:
Three great modules that I enjoy, that's a really nice change for my course. As far as I know this is what I have to complete for this semester:
And here's what we did in the first lab of ACA:
A great start to a new semester! Ooh and I'm only at uni for a total of 6 to 9 hours a week! :P
- Advanced Character Animation (Maya work)
- Computer Generated Special Effects (After Effects and Maya)
- Personal Project (Maya and web design)
Three great modules that I enjoy, that's a really nice change for my course. As far as I know this is what I have to complete for this semester:
- A 10 - 20 second character animation based on a fairy tale/nursery rhyme.
- A piece of film that containts real filmed footage, animation, compositing and special effects.
- A website that details a certain area of 3D work.

Little update
Just a small update to throw something onto my blog so that I don't get into the habbit of not posting again.
Here's a stylized render of the Nation Media Museum in Bradford. This was made for a uni project. All I did was rendered the scene, remodelled the museum a bit and added the plaque, floor, wall, power socket etc and textured everything. Anyways, here it is:

And just for the sake of it, here's a sketch from earlier on...GANGSTA:

I'll probably update again next week when we find out our new animation projects! Unless I create something before then, who knows! :O

2009
HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you had a great Christmas, mine was pure amazingness.
Well I've finished all of my uni work from last year. I have an exam next week and after that I'll be finding out my new projects which I'm really looking forward to. I know for sure that I'll be getting a new animation project, apart from that I have no idea at all.
I should make some new years resolutions. I'll get around to it soon but I'm sure that one is to eat healthier and another is to be MOAR creative and productive. I need to draw more.
That be all for now, BAI!
